Question 2 How can i create more than 1 mysql database on the server?
If you are a premium hosting customer your hosting account is set up with one default database. This is typically all you would need for most website functions, however occassionally clients have need for additional databases.
In this case you would simply have to submit a request via email for additional database access and your allotment will be increased according to your request.

Once your allotment is increased you will need to login to your account and activate your database. For this you will need to follow these instructions.

To create a new database?

Login to your admin interface at www.yourdomainname.com/admin (substitute "yourdomainname" for your actual website address)

Find the MYSQL section in your admin interface and click on MySQL Admin Tool

At the top of the page is a navigation menu with the following capabilities
Manage Databases
List Databases
Create Database
Change Password

Select Create Databases

Type in the name of the database you want to add.

Then press Save and your database will be active.

Question 3 My email account keeps filling up. How can I increase the amount of storage space for my email account?
Often the problem of an email account filling up can be corrected by utilizing good email account management habits.

If your email account keeps filling up, it doesn't necessarily mean that you need more space, it could be that you've just allowed your emails to build up and have forgotten they were there.

The first step in correcting this problem is to empty your email trash can.

We recommend you delete unused emails regularly.

To delete emails from your webmail account you simply log in to your inbox, check the box next to the email you wish to delete, and press the delete button in the upper left corner of your webmail interface.

To permanently delete emails from your trash can, click the link at the top of your folders column titled "refresh folder list". After you refresh your folder list, a "purge" link will apprear next to your trash can, if there are any messages pending deletion. Pressing the "purge" link will empty the trash can and free up space for your new emails.

You can also block email accounts and ip addresses from email accounts you don't want to receive emails from.

If after trying these procedures your email account continues to fill up and you feel you need additional storage space for your email account you can find addtitional information on increasing email storage space.

Question 4 How do I setup my email account on Outlook or any third party email program?
To setup your email account through outlook or any other third party program just open the email creation section of the program you are using and type your email username as username@yourdomain.com and password. When you are requested for pop: pop.yourdomain.com and for smtp: smtp.yourdomain.com. Some third party may not accept the @ symbol so try using the #, +, :, %. You might also be required to check the SMTP Authentication box.

Question 5 How can I edit my photos so I can place them on my web site?
IRFANVIEW is a Freeware product that allows you to resize your photos and compress them for publishing to the Internet.

Download Irfanview at www.irfanview.com

Look for the download button on the left menu.

Download and install the program to your computer.

Now click on the IrfanView icon, which should be on your desktop.

To format the images, click and drag the image to the black area of the program. If the image is too large resize the window by clicking on the + or - sign to resize the window.

Go to the menu and select Images > Resize/Resample Image.

A menu window should pop up with the current images width and height.

Make sure the "Set new size Option" is selected. In the width or height field enter the desired width or height. You only need to enter the width or height since the program constrains the image proportions.

Once you change the desired width or height make sure the "Preserve aspect ratio" is checked and the DPI is set to 72. 72 is the standard DPI for web images.

Click OK and the image window should resize to the desired size.

Click on File > Save As to save the image. Make sure you save the image as a different name then the original in case you made a mistake and need resize the file. When renaming the file be sure not to use any spaces, quotes or special characters such as % $ & @ ? ! etc.

Your images are now web ready and should upload to your site with no problem.
