Digital Imaging:
Digital imaging is the process of creating digital images from
physical objects and includes processing, compression, storage,
printing, and display of the digital images after they are rendered
into digital format.
Though there are several methods of digital imaging,
the following are the primary techniques used by AMI Studios for
the creation and display of digital images.
Digital Photography - Digital images
are created from a physical scene by a digital camera or other digital
device. Once created the digital images can then be modified or
enhanced using the following methods.
Virtual Tours - with the use of digital
photography sometimes combined with digital video this method of displaying
real estate is quite advantageous to realtors and home owners trying
to sell or lease their real estate.

Scanning - Digital images can be obtained by scanning another image in an
analog medium, such as photographs, photographic film, or printed
paper. AMI Studios can scan your prints, negatives, transparencies
or documents. Once digitized these images can be edited, customized,
enhanced or simply archived onto a CD for permanent storage.
Large Scale Scanning - create digital images of valuable art,
maps and other large format images that are typically too large
for conventional scanners.
Large Format Printing -display your commercial graphics and photos
on Billboards, Posters, Banners, Buses, Cars, Boats, and other large
format advertising space. If there is a surface you need covered
with an image or ad, AMI Studios will prepare the files for output,
select an optimal printing process, and provide installation for
your project.
