Programmer (Web)
Skills: Proficient in Internet based computer languages such as PHP, ASP, Javascript.
Qualified candidates should have working knowledge of Internet based applications, be proficient in one or more computer languages.
Duties: Develop web based applications for implementation with websites.
Description: Using multiple software applications and programming ability to develop complex applications for Internet based marketing campaigns. Programmers will put his/her skills to use in the creation, development and implementation of programs for use in Internet based applications.
Responsibilities: Typically programmers will attend production meetings with a project manager and support team members assigned to a project. Programmers review project goals and guidelines presented prior to or during the meeting and provide an analytical influence to the project. Programmers are also responsible for developing the project according to specifications laid out during the production meeting. The final stage will consist of the preparation of all files for implementation and output to the final medium for the project.
Requirements: Programming is a process which requires critical thinking throughout production. Programmers are expected to analyze problems and rapidly formulate solutions in order to maintain a continuous workflow. Software used during production typically consist of variety of multiple applications which programmers must be proficient in to complete assigned tasks. Programmers must understand the production process and show an aptitude for learning new computer languages, problem solving skills, troubleshooting and debugging procedures.
Training Requirements:
- Working knowledge of one or more Internet based computer languages, such PHP, ASP etc.
- Experience in analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications in NT and UNIX environments.
- Experience in object-oriented design methodology and application development in Java and J2EE, including Servlets, JSP, Java Beans, JDBC.
- Extensive experience with XML/XSL/XPath and related technologies.
- Project experience with J2EE application servers.
- Working knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL, MySQL), HTTP/HTML and basic NT/UNIX system administration.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word and Outlook, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Dreamweaver should also be attained prior to seeking employment as a web programmer.
Graphic Designer (Web and Print)
Skills Desired : Proficient in Drawing, Sketching and Painting. Artistic, creative with positive personality. Strong Writing Skills are a plus. Computer Skills are optional but helpful.
Qualified candidates should be able to draw and sketch quickly and proficiently, and be proficient in or have a desire to learn image creation software such as Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks, Swift3D, Adobe Illustrator.
Typical Duties: Produce artwork for Logos, brochures, flyers and other marketing collateral. Billboards, vehicle graphics and posters. Graphic interfaces for websites and other online applications. Design conceptual artwork and spec art for proposals. Miscellaneous responsibilities as needed.

Software used in the creation of a project consists of Photoshop, Fireworks, 3D software such as 3D Studio Max, Maya or Lighwave along with complimentary applications which enable Designers to add special effects to a design. Other forms of creative software include Adobe Illustrator for creating vector images for large scale designs while keeping file sizes relatively small. Designers should understand the creative process and show an aptitude for drawing or painting as well as having a general understanding of the software used during the process.
